Updating the extension on Chrome

1. When Chrome detects the new update, an ‘Error’ warning will appear on the top-right-hand of the screen. Click ‘Error.’

1. In the drop-down, click “Bookmark Llama is disabled” (top of the drop-down).

1. This will open a pop-up asking to approve the new permissions; click ‘Accept permissions.’

1. Log in with your usual credentials.

We have recently made some changes to our user interface to enhance the functionality of our extension. For our extension to seamlessly communicate with our webpage, we required additional permission in the browser.

No, this update is a one-time change aimed at simplifying and improving the usability of our product. We will unlikely need to modify our permissions again in the foreseeable future.

By declining the new permissions, you cannot use Bookmark Llama. The older version will be disabled, and unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide you with support.
